The 425th Separate Assault Regiment “Skelya” has been placed under the operational command of the 1st Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine “Azov.”
Throughout August, several battalions of “Skelya” had already been deployed to the corps’ area of responsibility, where they carried out missions to clear out infiltrated Russian infantry.
“Azov” reported improved operational discipline and minimized casualties during combat operations. The relocation and consolidation of the regiment’s scattered forces into a single sector of the front are currently underway.
The corps also emphasized that it plans to share its experience in personnel training, as well as its principles and approaches to conducting combat operations, with the fighters and command of “Skelya.”
