More than 50 trains are delayed by up to 7 hours due to Russian attacks

On the morning of September 29, more than 50 long-distance trains are running behind schedule. The longest delay is on the Uzhhorod–Kharkiv train, at 7 hours and 34 minutes.

 

As of the morning of September 29, more than 50 long-distance trains in Ukraine are delayed amid ongoing Russian attacks. 

As of 11:00 a.m. on September 29, the longest delays are on trains 17/18 Uzhhorod–Kharkiv (+7:34) and 351/352 Kyiv–Chisinau (+6:30). There are also six trains with delays of more than 5 hours.

Delays are also being reported for commuter trains in several regions—including the western and central regions of Rivne, Lviv, Zhytomyr, and Vinnytsia. In the latter, a Russian attack damaged the railway infrastructure.

This was reported by JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia.”

As a reminder, as a result of the enemy attack on Kyiv on September 23, a Ukrzaliznytsia employee sustained shrapnel wounds while returning home after his shift.

On September 23, Russian terrorists attacked two gas stations in Kyiv, leaving one person injured.

Seven people were injured in Kyiv as a result of the Russian attack on September 23. One of the injured, who was hospitalized in critical condition, died in the hospital.
