Hundreds of foreign defense companies have sought access to data on Russian weapons
More than 300 applications have already been submitted for registration on TrophyLab, the unified web portal for research on enemy military equipment. Of these, nearly 200 came from foreign defense companies in partner countries.
The platform provides access to blueprints, technical information, and research findings on captured Russian weapons. Ukrainian weapons manufacturers and units of the Defense Forces have also expressed interest in it.
The TrophyLab database is populated by units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR), the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), and specialized research institutions. Registered researchers can submit requests to receive samples or fragments of captured equipment for study and the development of new countermeasures.
The Ministry of Defense noted that all applicants are screened to ensure they have no ties to the Russian Federation, are not subject to sanctions, and meet other security requirements.
