Special operation by NABU and the SAP: Searches are being conducted at the home of Iryna Mudra, deputy head of the Presidential Office

NABU and the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) announced a special operation to expose a criminal organization that, according to preliminary information, operated under the leadership of a current and a former member of the Ukrainian Parliament and with the involvement of high-ranking officials from the Office of the President and other individuals.

This was reported by NABU on August 19. The Bureau’s official statement confirms the special operation, but law enforcement officials have not yet disclosed the names of those involved in the criminal proceedings.

Searches are being conducted at the residence of Iryna Mudra, deputy head of the Office of the President.

Additionally, according to available reports, investigative actions are being carried out at the residence of Member of Parliament Vadym Stolar.

The Bureau stated that current and former members of the Ukrainian Parliament, high-ranking officials from the Office of the President, and other individuals may be involved in the organization’s alleged activities.

The NABU and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) have promised to release details of the special operation at a later date.

Investigations are currently ongoing, and law enforcement officials are establishing all the circumstances and the possible circle of individuals involved.

Iryna Mudra assumed the position of Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine on March 29, 2024. Prior to joining the Office of the President, Mudra served as Deputy Minister of Justice of Ukraine from 2022 to 2024, and before that, she worked for many years as a lawyer in the banking sector, notably at Oschadbank.

Iryna Mudra has access to important legal and international processes.

This was reported by People’s Deputy Oleksiy Goncharenko.

As a reminder, the High Anti-Corruption Court recently convicted a relative of People’s Deputy Goncharenko.

The actions and financial status of former Deputy Prosecutor General Dmytro Verbytskyi require a thorough investigation by anti-corruption authorities. This opinion was expressed by Oleksiy Goncharenko, a People’s Deputy and chairman of the Verkhovna Rada’s Temporary Investigative Commission, in an interview with UA.News.

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) announced a special operation to expose a criminal organization in which current and former members of the Verkhovna Rada, high-ranking officials from the Office of the President, and other individuals may be involved.
