Fuel prices in Ukraine on April 3: Diesel and autogas prices are on the rise
On Friday, April 3, Ukrainian gas stations saw another fluctuation in prices for major types of fuel.
Diesel fuel saw the most noticeable price increase for drivers, rising by 76 kopecks at once to reach 87.63 UAH/liter.
The relevant data was published by the specialized portal "Minfin," noting uneven trends across different market segments.
While diesel and liquefied gas are becoming more expensive, premium gasoline brands are showing a downward trend in price.
The average price of the popular A-95 gasoline rose only slightly—by just 2 kopecks—and now stands at 71.83 UAH/liter.
At the same time, premium A-95 (Plus) has become more affordable, dropping by 53 kopecks to 75.03 UAH/liter.
A-92 gasoline also saw a slight price drop of 3 kopecks, settling at 66.43 UAH/liter.
In contrast, automotive gas continues to rise in price: over the past 24 hours, its average cost increased by 39 kopecks and currently stands at 47.94 UAH/liter.
The situation at the country’s largest gas station chains remains mixed, depending on the operators’ pricing policies.
For example, at the “Ukrnafta” and “U.GO” networks, A-95 gasoline is offered at 68.9 UAH/liter, and diesel at 84.9 UAH/liter.
Significantly higher prices are traditionally observed in the premium segment, particularly at the OKKO and WOG networks. Here, a liter of A-95 gasoline will cost drivers 75 UAH, while diesel fuel costs nearly 90 UAH per liter.
The BRSM-Nafta chain keeps the price of A-95 gasoline at 68.9 UAH/liter, while offering the cheapest autogas at 46.4 UAH/liter.
At “BVS” stations, diesel is priced at 86.99 UAH/liter, and gasoline at 70.99 UAH/liter.
