The Center for Public Discourse Debunked a Fake Photo Claiming That the Ukrainian Language Was Banned in Warsaw Taxis

An AI-generated image is circulating online showing a sign in a Warsaw taxi that reads, “You can speak Ukrainian on foot.” Special software for detecting fakes has confirmed that the photo was created using neural network tools.

The Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council reported that Russia is deliberately spreading this fake to discredit Ukrainians in Poland and artificially inflame tensions in Ukrainian-Polish relations.

This was reported by UNN.

As a reminder, Andrzej Szwilka, a member of the Polish opposition party “Law and Justice,” called for the deportation from Poland of Ukrainian men of draft age who do not have legal employment. He stated that such individuals could be used to form at least one brigade to participate in the war against Russia.

A majority of Poles support the proposal by the opposition Law and Justice party to expel Ukrainian men of draft age who do not have legal employment from the country.
