The curfew hours have been changed in the Chernivtsi region
Starting September 11, the curfew hours will be shortened throughout the Chernivtsi region; the curfew will be in effect from 1:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. instead of the current schedule from 11:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. Thus, the duration of the restrictions will be reduced from five to three hours.
The region has also established a special procedure for movement during curfew hours using passes issued by the Chernivtsi Regional Commandant’s Office for employees of enterprises and organizations that ensure the region’s vital functions, including those responsible for providing meals to schoolchildren. In light of these changes, representatives of the security and defense sector will step up monitoring in public places, on roads, and near critical infrastructure facilities to prevent sabotage; if the security situation deteriorates, the restrictions may be revised.
This is stated in a statement by Ruslan Osypenko, head of the Chernivtsi Regional State Administration.
Starting September 10, the curfew in Kyiv and the Kyiv region has been shortened. It will now be in effect from 1:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m., for a total of four hours instead of five. As a result, public transportation in the capital will also operate for one hour longer.
In the Holosiivskyi district of the capital, a fire broke out in a private residential building as a result of a Russian attack.
