The search under the rubble of a school in Kherson has been completed
Search and rescue operations have been completed in Kherson at the site of an educational institution destroyed by a Russian strike. Rescuers recovered the body of a man who had been killed from under the rubble. Five other people were injured.
Russian forces carried out an airstrike on one of Kherson’s educational institutions around noon on July 31. The building sustained significant damage as a result of the attack. A person was trapped under the rubble, so rescue workers conducted search operations. They eventually recovered the body of the deceased man.
One person was killed and five were injured
According to the State Emergency Service, one person was killed as a result of the Russian airstrike. Five more people were injured. “Five people were injured as a result of the enemy strike, and one person was killed. Search and rescue operations have been completed,” the State Emergency Service reported.
After recovering the body of the deceased, rescuers completed their work at the site of the destroyed school. Russian troops regularly attack Kherson and other settlements in the region. Strikes on civilian infrastructure and areas where people are present result in the deaths and injuries of civilians. The State Emergency Service reported this on Telegram on Saturday.
