According to rescue workers, relatives heard the woman’s screams, quickly carried her out of the smoke-filled room, and called emergency services.
The fire was quickly extinguished, and the spread of flames to other rooms was prevented.
In addition, another incident occurred in Bershad: a 66-year-old man was lighting a stove with a flammable substance, which caused a fire. He tried to extinguish the fire on his own but suffered burns and was hospitalized.
A gas explosion also occurred in a residential building in Lviv, resulting in casualties.
As a reminder, a gas explosion occurred in a high-rise building in Khmelnytskyi. During rescue operations, the bodies of two people were found—a woman born in 1973 and a man born in 1983. Both lived in the building, which sustained significant damage.
