Ukraine is preparing a new package of sanctions against the defense-industrial complexes of Russia and Belarus.
This was announced by Vladislav Vlasyuk, the President’s Representative on Sanctions Policy.
According to him, Kyiv has already informed its international partners of its intention to expand sanctions pressure to new sectors of the economy and specific companies.
The new package may include restrictions against the so-called “grain fleet,” companies operating in temporarily occupied territories, as well as entities linked to defense cooperation between Russia and Belarus.
Separately, Ukraine plans to tighten sanctions against the Russian state corporation “Rostec” and its affiliated entities.
Collaborators, propaganda networks, and the financial sector may also face sanctions, including potential sector-specific restrictions.
