A high-pressure system is approaching Ukraine: What will the weather be like on July 29?
On Tuesday, July 29, the weather in Ukraine will vary by region. Some regions will still be under the influence of a cold front, which will bring rain and thunderstorms, while in other regions a high-pressure system will begin to take hold.
Forecasters predict that the unstable weather will gradually subside, though precipitation and thunderstorms will still be possible in some regions.
Where rain and thunderstorms are likely tomorrow
An expert explained that throughout July 29, the remnants of a cold atmospheric front will cause brief rains and thunderstorms:
in the Kharkiv region;
in the Poltava region;
in the Sumy region;
in the north of the Luhansk region.
Meanwhile, according to Didenko, most of Ukraine will experience “dry weather.”
“Just like the entire European continent—an anticyclone,” she noted.

What to Expect in Terms of Wind and Temperature
According to Didenko, northwesterly winds are expected throughout Wednesday.
“Moderate, at times gusty,” the specialist clarified.
At the same time, the air temperature will be “perfect.”
Across Ukraine, average temperatures of +22...+25°C are expected throughout the day on July 29.
It will be slightly warmer in the southern part—up to +24...+28°C.
The northern regions, however, will be the coolest—around +20...+22°C.
What kind of weather to expect in Kyiv
In Kyiv on Wednesday, July 29, precipitation is unlikely.
Daytime temperatures will be around +22...+23 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, tonight (according to the weather forecast from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center), temperatures in the capital may drop to around +15°C.

“The end of July and the beginning of August will bring a real heat wave to Ukraine—please keep this in mind,” Didenko emphasized.
Finally, she advised people to dress appropriately for the weather, pay close attention to their health, and not forget about their pets.
"Wear clothing that is as natural and lightweight as possible. Make sure your fans and air conditioners are in good working order (check them just in case), and keep a supply of water on hand... Heat is a normal part of summer, but it never hurts to pay attention to the weather forecast,” the meteorologist concluded.
