Ukrenergo does not plan to cut off power on August 21

No electricity consumption restrictions are planned in Ukraine on Friday, August 21. According to Ukrenergo, no power outages are expected for that day.

“No restrictions are planned for Friday,” the statement reads.

The company urges residents to use high-power appliances between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. and to conserve electricity between 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.

NPC “Ukrenergo” reported this on Telegram.

As a reminder, as a result of Russian shelling of energy infrastructure, as of August 18, some consumers remained without power in the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, Chernihiv, Kherson, and Kharkiv regions. Power companies are working to restore power.

Over the past week, DTEK’s power engineers have fully or partially restored power to 496 settlements in three regions that had been left without electricity due to Russian shelling.
