Ukrenergo has warned Kyiv and two regions about an evening power conservation measure

There are no plans to implement hourly power outage schedules in Ukraine on October 1. At the same time, Ukrenergo has urged residents of Kyiv and two regions to reduce their electricity consumption during the evening hours.

“The hourly power outages and power restriction schedules for industrial consumers that were forecast yesterday are not currently in effect,” the statement reads.

However, Ukrenergo warned that in certain regions—specifically in Kyiv, the Kyiv region, and the Zhytomyr region—there is a need to conserve electricity during the evening hours.

The Electricity Situation in Ukraine

As a reminder, Russian occupiers have once again begun attacking Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.
