Ukrnafta is preparing to install mobile gas stations
Ukrnafta plans to use mobile fueling stations to quickly supply consumers with fuel in the event that stationary gas stations are unable to operate.
Bogdan Kukura, the company’s CEO, said that Ukrnafta already has several small fuel tankers with a capacity of up to three cubic meters that can be used as mobile gas stations. The company also plans to purchase several more such vehicles.
According to him, preparations must be made for the operation of mobile refueling stations, taking into account the security situation and potential risks.
At the same time, legislative changes are needed to fully utilize such stations. Currently, a mobile refueling unit can only be used within the boundaries of an existing gas station and under the corresponding license, particularly in the event of the station’s destruction.
The company also warns of the risk of illegal mobile refueling stations appearing, which could create problems with fuel quality control.
