An SUV exploded in Odesa; the driver was injured
On the morning of July 28, an SUV exploded in the Peresypsky District of Odesa. The 49-year-old driver was injured in the incident, and law enforcement officials have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
According to preliminary reports, the explosion occurred around 8:00 a.m. on Semen Paliy Street. The man started the car and began driving, after which the explosion occurred almost immediately.
The driver sustained injuries; medical personnel promptly arrived at the scene, examined the victim, and provided him with the necessary assistance. No information about other casualties has been reported at this time.
An investigative team and police bomb squad are working at the scene. Law enforcement officers are conducting initial investigative actions and determining the exact cause of the SUV’s explosion.
At this time, the official cause of the explosion has not been determined; all possible scenarios and circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
