Rain and hail are expected in Ukraine on May 20, with temperatures in Kyiv reaching up to 25°C
On Thursday, May 20, cloudy weather with some sunny intervals, along with rain and hail in some areas, is forecast for Ukraine. In Kyiv, daytime temperatures will range between 23–25°C. Meteorologists are warning of unstable weather conditions in certain regions of the country.

Moderate rain is expected across Ukraine; during the day, except for most western regions, thunderstorms are expected. In the southern part, most central regions, and Zhytomyr Oblast, there will be heavy rain, hail, and squalls of 15–20 m/s in some areas. The wind will be predominantly from the north, 5-10 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will range from 12-17°C, daytime temperatures from 22-27°C; in the western regions, nighttime temperatures will be 8-13°C, and daytime temperatures 18-23°C.
On Wednesday, May 20, in Kyiv, it will be cloudy with some sunny intervals. There will be brief showers and thunderstorms during the day. The wind will be from the north, 5-10 m/s. Temperatures across the region will range from 12-17° at night to 22-27° during the day; in Kyiv, temperatures will be around 15° at night and 23-25° during the day.
Forecasters are warning of hazardous weather conditions across the Kyiv region and Kyiv – Level I hazard, yellow.
