Sales of the iPhone 18 have begun in Ukraine: Which models are in highest demand?

The first Ukrainian customers are already receiving their new Apple smartphones, and retailers are reporting strong demand for certain models. Sales of the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max officially began in Ukraine on September 25.

According to reports from Kyiv-based social media groups, the first buyers have already picked up their new devices at the flagship “Citrus” store on Khreshchatyk Street in Kyiv. 

It is reported that Kyiv residents began gathering outside the store as early as 7:00 a.m. “Citrus” reports a shortage of the new models and advises interested customers to place orders in advance for the next shipment.

Over 7,000 pre-orders

Demand for the new Apple smartphones in Ukraine was high even before the official sales launch. According to Artem Shevchenko, CEO of “Citrus,” the chain received over 7,000 pre-orders, dev.ua reports.

Comfy reported that virtually the entire first batch of smartphones has already been allocated to customers who placed reservations in advance. Due to high demand, customers will receive some of their orders from subsequent shipments.

According to retailers, one of the most sought-after models is the iPhone 18 Pro Max in Burgundy with 256 GB of storage.

A representative of “ASBIS-Ukraine” noted, however, that it will be possible to definitively assess sales volumes later, since at the launch, buyers may place orders with multiple retailers simultaneously.

How Much Do the New iPhones Cost?

When comparing identical models with 256 GB of storage, the iPhone 18 Pro costs 77,999 UAH at Comfy and Foxtrot. At “Citrus,” the price is the same—77,999 UAH—but on the retailer’s website, the smartphone is listed as “Coming Soon.”

The 256 GB iPhone 18 Pro Max costs 84,999 UAH at Comfy and “Citrus.” At “Citrus,” this version is listed as “Coming Soon.” At “Foxtrot,” the 256 GB iPhone 18 Pro Max is currently not available for purchase.

At “Yabko,” prices for the same models are higher: the 256 GB iPhone 18 Pro costs between 90,799 UAH and 92,099 UAH depending on the color, and the 256 GB iPhone 18 Pro Max costs 119,999 UAH.

Thus, the price of a model with the same storage capacity can vary significantly depending on the retailer.

Customs has calculated how many iPhone 18s have already been imported into Ukraine.
