The AKIS state platform for agricultural innovation has launched in Ukraine
The Ministry of Economy has announced the official launch of the state platform for agricultural knowledge and innovation—AKIS (Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation System).
This was reported by the Ministry of Economy.
The new digital resource was created as a unified database that brings together farmers, scientists, industry professionals, and government agencies to accelerate the modernization of the sector.
The main goal of the project is the rapid implementation of scientific developments into actual production.
Thanks to the platform, the path from the emergence of an innovative solution to its practical application in the fields should be significantly shortened, allowing the Ukrainian agricultural sector to remain competitive in the global market.
At launch, the AKIS database already contained over 260 useful resources, including methodological guidelines, research findings, and case studies of successful farming practices.
In addition to the information section, the platform offers an interactive forum where farmers can exchange experiences and seek solutions to common problems in real time.
A key advantage of the system is its full integration with the State Agricultural Register (DAR).
This means that producers already registered in the SAR can use all AKIS tools without needing to undergo additional registration, which significantly simplifies access to critical information.
