A new food-grade salt production plant has begun operations in Ukraine. The Black Sea Salt Plant in the Odesa region has launched production with a capacity of up to 15,000 tons per month.

Production has entered a continuous cycle.”

The new plant has a capacity of 15,000 tons of salt per month.

“This allows us to cover about 50% of domestic salt demand,” the publication states. — “In the future, the company plans to extract salt from the Kuyalnik Estuary in the Odesa region. According to the plant’s management, this will allow for the production of 200,000 tons of salt per year and will meet the country’s demand for table salt.”
