The High Anti-Corruption Court sentenced an employee of a defense contractor to nine years in prison for bribery
The High Anti-Corruption Court sentenced an employee of the Krasyliv Aggregate Plant to nine years in prison for accepting an illegal benefit.
This was reported by the SAP.
The case involves a department head at the plant who was exposed in 2025. According to the investigation, he received a bribe of 1,990,840 UAH from a businessman.
In return, the official promised to conclude contracts for the supply of products, not to create obstacles during their acceptance, ensure payment, and facilitate further cooperation.
The court found him guilty under Part 4 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
In addition to imprisonment, he was ordered to forfeit part of his property and was barred from holding leadership positions for a period of three years.
The verdict may be appealed within 30 days.
The SBU also detained a Russian agent who guided airstrikes on Sloviansk.
