Teachers in frontline areas will continue to receive a monthly bonus of 2,600 hryvnia

A monthly bonus of 2,600 hryvnias will continue to be paid to 23,600 teachers from 614 schools in frontline areas. This applies to teachers working in-person or in a hybrid format, according to Ukrainian Prime Minister Serhiy Koretskyi.

“Despite limited financial resources, the government has maintained a separate monthly allowance of 2,600 UAH for teachers in frontline areas who work in-person or in a hybrid format,” Koretskyi wrote on Telegram on Thursday.

According to him, the government has reallocated additional funds to ensure these payments. This will allow for full payment for hours actually worked during the previous school year in communities where funding is still needed, and ensure that the bonus is paid through the end of the year.

“Supporting people in frontline areas is one of the government’s key priorities,” the prime minister noted.

Serhiy Krpetkyi wrote about this on his Telegram channel.
