Video: Kaplunov, Deputy Commander of the RDK, Accused the SBU of Discrediting the GUR and Budanov
Stepan Kaplunov, deputy commander of the Russian Volunteer Corps, claimed that on August 23, he was allegedly abducted by SBU officers, who subjected him to physical and psychological pressure.
According to Kaplunov, General Poklad allegedly worked directly with him during the first three days. He claims that the purpose of the pressure was to discredit Dmitry Ivanov, deputy commander of the “Timur” special forces unit, and Kirill Budanov, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR), by accusing them of collaborating with the FSB.
In addition, Kaplunov stated that while he was away, SBU officers allegedly attempted to gain access to his apartment and plant unknown items there. According to him, representatives of the RDK handed over the relevant video to investigators from the State Bureau of Investigations.
At the same time, the statements cited are Kaplunov’s own claims. The report does not include any comments from the Security Service of Ukraine regarding these allegations.
