According to him, during a coordination meeting with corps, brigade, and battalion commanders in the Lyman sector, they also discussed decisions regarding defense procurement—including pickup trucks at the brigade level, strengthening the Unmanned Systems Forces, increasing funding for drones, streamlining procurement, expanding personnel, and recruiting and training personnel.
“We also spoke separately with corps commanders about the situation on the front lines in the east and south of our country, the development of drone and anti-drone technologies, and new methods of warfare. We also discussed the return of troops from the Northern Military District, the recruitment of foreign nationals, and logistics,” he said.
Furthermore, according to Zelenskyy, the need for long-range artillery was agreed upon with military officials. All issues at the military command level must be reviewed and discussed at a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Headquarters.
