The Ministry of Defense has begun testing a new feature in the Reserve+ app that will allow educators to apply for a deferment from mobilization online.
Teachers and other educational staff at general secondary schools who work at least 0.75 full-time equivalents at their primary place of employment will be able to use this service.
During the application process, the system will automatically verify the necessary data through government registries. Therefore, educators will not have to collect paper certificates or visit a Center for Administrative Services in person.
Currently, the Ministry of Defense is inviting educators to participate in beta testing. Once testing is complete, the service is scheduled to be made available to all eligible Reserve+ users.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukrainehasofficially denied reports of any orders from the Commander-in-Chief or the commandprohibiting military personnel from speaking publicly or giving interviews to the media. The ministry described previously published statements regarding such restrictions as untrue.
On the morning of August 3, 2026, users began reporting issues with the Reserve+ app that prevented them from logging into the system. The outage was caused by technical malfunctions that prevented those subject to military service from completing the authorization process.
