According to him, during the visit, he and Jared Kushner presented the Ukrainian side with new ideas based on the results of the talks in Moscow, which had not worked out previously.
“I think we made significant progress in Moscow. We heard new ideas. You heard President Zelenskyy speak about trilateral talks, which we hope will be announced in the near future. There were many other important and compelling ideas that we discussed in Moscow and that were presented here in Kyiv. We believe that cooperation is of crucial importance,” Witkoff said.
In response, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that every effort must be made to hold trilateral meetings.
