Another 11 Ukrainian children have been returned from the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson region
Another 11 children were successfully returned to territory controlled by Ukraine from the temporarily occupied Kherson region. Among them are four girls and seven boys aged 6 to 17. An adult orphan was also evacuated.
The operation was carried out with the assistance of the charity Save Ukraine as part of the presidential initiative “Bring Kids Back UA.”
According to Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, the occupiers forced one of the teenagers to attend propaganda events, and they forced another family to send their child to a Russian school under threat of taking the boy away. When the child fell ill, he was denied treatment because his mother did not have a Russian passport.
Currently, all those rescued are safe and undergoing rehabilitation. Since the beginning of 2026, 135 children have already been returned from the occupied part of the Kherson region.

Ukraine has repatriated four more children, aged 6 to 15, from the temporarily occupied territories. Among them are a boy who had been separated from his parents for several years, a girl whose mother was unable to retrieve her for a long time due to the loss of documents, and two teenagers who found themselves under occupation without their families.
