Zelensky announced new talks in the US
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that a meeting between Ukrainian and American delegations in the US is currently being prepared.
He announced this in an evening address.
"We are preparing meetings in the United States of America. After the American team returns from Moscow and relevant consultations in Washington, Rustem Umerov, Andriy Gnativ and everyone else needed for the negotiations will continue talks with representatives of President Trump. We are waiting for news in the coming days about such meetings, contacts, negotiations – face-to-face meetings or telephone conversations – there is constant contact between all partners and between partners and Ukraine," the statement said.
The Ukrainian negotiating team was invited to visit the US after US Special Representative Steve Witkoff met with Russian dictator Putin.
