Zelenskyy and Tusk agreed to meet in person in the near future
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, following which the leaders agreed to hold a face-to-face meeting in the near future.
During the talks, the parties discussed the current escalation by Russia, preparations for the Ukrainian power grid ahead of winter, as well as the possibility of trilateral technical-level meetings between Ukraine, the United States, and Russia.
The head of state noted that there are no obstacles to such talks on the Ukrainian side, but it is important to ensure adequate preparation on the part of the U.S. and Russia’s willingness to participate. Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed his gratitude to Donald Tusk and Poland for their support, emphasizing that stopping the aggression and preventing the war from spreading further is possible only through the united strength of all of Europe.
Zelenskyy announced this on social media.
