Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has enacted the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine dated July 2, 2026, on the imposition of new targeted special economic and other restrictive measures. The corresponding decree, No. 588/2026, has been published on the website of the Office of the President.

According to the document, sanctions have been imposed on 14 Russian citizens, including propagandists Maxim Kalashnikov, Ilya Tumanov, and German Sadulaev, as well as Maria Kiselova, a deputy of the Moscow City Duma. At the same time, a Ukrainian citizen—Boryslav Bereza, a former member of the Verkhovna Rada of the 8th convocation—has also been added to the sanctions list.

In addition, restrictive measures have been imposed on eight legal entities. Among them are the public organization “Russia—Land of Opportunities,” the “Union of Writers of Russia,” as well as regional branches of this organization established in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

In a separate decree, the president also enacted another package of sanctions targeting 42 Russian citizens and 30 Russian legal entities.

As noted, the restrictions are aimed, in particular, at suppliers of equipment to enterprises of the Russian military-industrial complex that manufacture components for missile weapons, as well as at individuals involved in Russian propaganda.

The sanctions impose special economic and other restrictive measures on individuals in accordance with Ukrainian law.
