Zelenskyy has approved Ukraine's delegation for the 2026 NPT Conference

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has approved the composition of the Ukrainian delegation to participate in the 2026 Review Conference of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.

The corresponding decree No. 330/2026, dated April 22, has been published on the President’s website.

According to the document, the Ukrainian delegation will be led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleksandr Mishchenko.

The delegation also includes: Andriy Melnyk, Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the United Nations; Oleksiy Budyk, Deputy Head of the State Agency of Ukraine for the Management of the Exclusion Zone; Anatoliy Zlenko, Second Secretary of the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the United Nations; Anatoliy Kutsevol, Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine for European Integration; Serhiy Lopatin, Chief Specialist and State Inspector of the Department for Physical Protection of Nuclear Facilities and Design-Based Threats at the Directorate for Nuclear Security and Safeguards of the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate of Ukraine; and Serhiy Shutenko, Director of the Department of International Security and Defense of Ukraine at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

The 2026 Review Conference of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons will take place from April 27 to May 22, 2026, in New York, USA.
