Zelenskyy met with Biletsky: They discussed the front lines and support for the military
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with the commander of the Third Army Corps, Brigadier General Andriy Biletskyi.
According to the head of state, he listened to the commander’s briefing on the situation at the front and thanked the military for holding their strong positions.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the situation in the Kharkiv and Donetsk sectors, possible actions by Russian troops, and the future tasks of the Ukrainian defense forces.
Special attention was paid to the supply of Ukrainian units. Zelenskyy emphasized that the strength of the Defense Forces’ positions is the foundation for defending Ukraine’s independence and an important factor in diplomatic efforts.

As a reminder, on July 16, rallies in support of Mykhailo Fedorov took place for the second time that day in Kyiv, Lviv, and Lutsk following reports of his resignation as defense minister. Participants called on the authorities to continue the reforms that have been initiated and to transparently select new leadership for the Ministry of Defense.
Russian Z-bloggers reacted positively to Mykhailo Fedorov’s dismissal as Ukraine’s defense minister, claiming that this could allegedly weaken the Ukrainian army.
