16 people injured in the past 24 hours in the Kharkiv region due to Russian attacks
Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces have struck Kharkiv and other settlements in the region with missiles, guided bombs, and drones. Sixteen people were injured in the attacks, including a 15-year-old boy.
According to him, Kharkiv and 17 settlements in the Kharkiv region came under fire over the past day. In Kharkiv, eight people suffered acute stress reactions. Among them was a 15-year-old boy. In the village of Mayak in the Zolochiv community, a 62-year-old woman and a 59-year-old man were wounded as a result of the shelling.
In Martove, Pechenizhsk Community, an 85-year-old woman and a 50-year-old man experienced acute stress reactions. Two more people were injured in the village of Kolisnykivka, Shevchenkivsk Community. They are a 51-year-old woman and a 53-year-old man, who were also diagnosed with acute stress reaction. In Izyum, a Russian strike resulted in the injury of an 89-year-old man. Another person, a 62-year-old woman, suffered from acute stress reaction.
“Over the past 24 hours, the city of Kharkiv and 17 settlements in the Kharkiv region came under enemy attack. As a result of the shelling, 16 people were injured, including a child,” Oleg Synyegubov reported. Russian forces attacked the region with missiles, guided aerial bombs, drones, and FPV drones.
Residential buildings and outbuildings were damaged by the shelling. A warehouse, an educational institution, garages, vehicles, and power lines were also damaged. Russian troops regularly launch strikes on the Kharkiv region. Both the regional capital and settlements near the border and the front line are under attack. Russian troops attacked the Zaporizhzhia region 559 times over the past 24 hours. Forty settlements were hit; three people were killed, and another 20 were wounded.
On the morning of August 23, Russian troops attacked Izyum in the Kharkiv region with three guided aerial bombs. Two people were injured in the strike, and about 20 private homes were damaged. Cars and power lines were also damaged.
