Yaroslavl Airport temporarily suspends operations
Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya) reported that Yaroslavl Airport has temporarily suspended operations and is not accepting aircraft.
This was announced on Telegram by Rosaviatsiya’s official representative, Artem Korenyako.
Temporary restrictions on the arrival and departure of aircraft have been introduced at Yaroslavl Airport (Tunoshna).
“The restrictions are necessary to ensure flight safety,” the statement said.
It can be assumed that Ukrainian drones have been flying toward Russia.
Also on Thursday, December 25, airports in Kaluga and Zhukovsky were closed for up to five hours.
As a reminder, the Ukrainian interceptor drone “General Chereshnia AIR” destroyed one of Russia’s newest and rarest reconnaissance UAVs, the “Knyaz Veshchiy Oleg.”
