Russian attack on Nikopol region: three injured and significant damage – photos
On December 22, as a result of another attack by Russian forces on the Nikopol district of Dnipropetrovsk region, three people were injured. The occupiers struck the area with FPV drones and artillery, damaging residential buildings, infrastructure, and utilities.
This was reported by the head of the regional military administration, Vladyslav Haivanenko.
In the Nikopol region, the three injured were a 76-year-old man and two women aged 76 and 69. All are receiving outpatient treatment.
The attacks affected Nikopol, Marhanets, Pokrovska, and Myrivska communities. The aggressor used FPV drones and artillery. Damaged infrastructure included three five-story buildings, five private houses, a dormitory, six utility structures (with one completely destroyed), as well as vehicles, a gas pipeline, and a power line.
According to updated information, two multi-story buildings in the district center were heavily damaged during the nighttime shelling.
It was also reported that during the day, according to the Air Defense forces, a drone was destroyed in the region.

New videos have emerged online of the tanker Valeriy Gorchakov, which was damaged during a nighttime attack on Rostov-on-Don on December 18. As a result of the strike, the ship began to sink — its stern was submerged almost up to the superstructure. Two crew members, a cook and an engine operator, were killed.
