Russian airstrike in Bilopillia leaves one dead and four injured
This morning in Bilopillia, Sumy region, a Russian airstrike killed one civilian and injured four others.
This was reported on Telegram by the Sumy Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
"On 15 January 2026, at around 10:15, the occupiers dropped, according to preliminary data, a guided aerial bomb on the central part of Bilopillia in the Sumy district. As a result of the attack, a 35-year-old local resident was killed. Four more people were injured," the statement reads.

According to the prosecutor’s office, the strike damaged a school building, a shop, and several vehicles.

A criminal case has been opened for the commission of war crimes resulting in the death of a person (Part 2, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

A Russian drone also attacked an evacuation vehicle of the “White Angel” special unit in Sumy region.
Recall that as a result of a Russian attack in Kharkiv region, eight people were injured, including children. Additionally, a Russian drone attack in Odesa damaged a vocational college.
