A drone struck Fora in the Kyiv region — photos of the damage have emerged
On the morning of September 30, a Russian drone struck the “Fora” supermarket in the village of Ivankovychi in the Obukhiv District of the Kyiv region. The building was partially destroyed, a fire broke out inside the store, and a 50-year-old woman was injured. The Kyiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office released photos showing damage to the cash registers, the entrance, the roof, and the store’s equipment.
On the morning of September 30, a Russian attack drone struck the “Fora” supermarket in the village of Ivankovychi, Obukhiv District, Kyiv Region. According to the investigation, this occurred around 8:30 a.m. A fire broke out in the store after the strike. Firefighters extinguished the blaze around 10:00 a.m. A 50-year-old woman was injured as a result of the attack. The supermarket building sustained significant damage: parts of the interior were destroyed, and the roof, staircases, and structural elements were damaged.

The Kyiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office released the first photos from the scene of the attack. The images show that the interior of the store was hit the hardest. In particular, the checkout area was severely damaged. After the fire, charred structural elements and retail equipment remained there. The supermarket’s entrance was also heavily damaged. Part of the structure has collapsed, and debris and signs of fire are visible all around.

Other photos show shelves with merchandise. According to the prosecutor’s office, some of the merchandise was saved, but part of the retail equipment and goods were destroyed by the fire. The store’s roof was also damaged. Due to the strike and the fire, the premises now require restoration.
The attack affected more than just Ivankovychi. In Brovary, three men aged 26, 40, and 62 were wounded as a result of enemy shelling. Two of the victims sustained shrapnel wounds to the head and back. They were hospitalized. Another man sustained a shrapnel wound to the frontal region of his head and is undergoing further examination.

Law enforcement officials have launched a pre-trial investigation into the attacks in the Kyiv region under Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine—violation of the laws and customs of war. Investigative and operational teams and other services are working at the sites of the strikes. Law enforcement officials continue to document the consequences of the Russian attack.

On the night of September 30, Russia also launched a combined strike on Kyiv and the surrounding region. Residential buildings and infrastructure facilities were damaged in the region, and a child was killed under the rubble in Vyshhorod.
