Drones attacked the Leningrad Region of the Russian Federation, causing a fire

Drones attacked the Leningrad Region of Russia. Near the town of Velikaya Izhora, Russian air defenses attempted to repel an attack by FP-1 drones.

According to monitoring channels, during the attack, Russian air defense forces attempted to shoot down Ukrainian FP-1 drones.

Monitoring sources report that as a result of the attack, the ammunition supply was almost completely destroyed. Other details and the extent of possible damage have not yet been specified.

The attack took place amid reports of significant losses to Russian logistics infrastructure.

Of Wildberries’ 10 largest logistics centers in Russia, only three remain operational, according to available data.

In particular, on the night of August 16, following a large-scale drone attack on the Moscow region, the Wildberries logistics hub in the “Koledino” industrial park ceased operations.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, this facility was Wildberries’ largest warehouse by area—the complex covered approximately 250,000 square meters.

In addition, on the night of August 16, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the “Kamensk Combine,” a facility belonging to the Russian military-industrial complex, in Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, Rostov Oblast.

A fire was reported on the plant’s premises.

The facility is linked to the production of goods for the Russian military-industrial complex, specifically components used in the manufacture of rocket fuel.

This has been reported by monitoring groups.

As a reminder, over the past six months, Ukraine has begun using British drones to carry out long-range strikes on Russian territory.

Robert Brovdi (Madyar), commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, stated that Ukraine may soon face an intensification of Russian missile strikes and attacks by jet-powered drones.
