Drones attacked ports in Kerch and the Krasnodar Krai of the Russian Federation

On the night of Saturday, June 21, drones attacked the port in Kerch in the temporarily occupied Crimea and the “Kavkaz” port in the Krasnodar Krai of the Russian Federation, resulting in fires at the facilities.

According to OSINT analysis, the oil depot at the Kerch Commercial Port caught fire following the strikes.

It is located less than a kilometer from the approaches to the Kerch Bridge and is used for the storage and transshipment of petroleum products, as well as to support the operation of the “Crimea–Kavkaz” ferry crossing.

In addition, a fire was reported at the “Kavkaz” port on the Russian shore of the Kerch Strait. The fire was confirmed by satellite services that detect temperature anomalies.

The port of “Kavkaz” is one of the Russian Federation’s key transportation hubs, serving both road and rail ferries.

Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that 239 drones were allegedly shot down overnight over various regions of Russia and the temporarily occupied Crimea, as well as over the waters of the Black and Azov Seas.

This was reported by Russian and monitoring Telegram channels.

In the Dnipro region, particularly on the temporarily occupied left bank of the Kherson Oblast, Russian troops are increasingly facing supply and logistics challenges. Ukrainian defense forces have intensified pressure on key supply routes, further complicating the movement and delivery of resources to the occupying forces.

A Ukrainian drone attack on targets in the Moscow region on Thursday served as yet another example that, according to CNN, confirms the effectiveness of Ukraine’s strategy of overwhelming Russian air defense systems through the massive use of drones.
