Drones attacked the Voronezh Region of the Russian Federation; several villages were left without power
On October 7, several towns in Russia’s Voronezh Region were left without power following a drone attack.
According to Gusev, Russian air defenses allegedly shot down 64 drones over nine districts and two urban districts in the Voronezh region. According to preliminary reports, there were no casualties.
At the same time, in the southern part of the region, a power line was damaged by falling drone debris. Due to the damage, several villages were temporarily left without electricity.
Governor Alexander Gusev stated that emergency services are expected to restore power after completing the necessary repairs.
Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense claimed that 311 Ukrainian drones were allegedly shot down over Russian territory during the night.
The Russian side did not specify in the statement where exactly all the claimed drones were destroyed or what consequences the attack had in other regions.

As a reminder, crews from the 429th Separate “Achilles” Unmanned Systems Brigade and the 9th Unmanned Systems Forces Brigade jointly struck a Russian UAV workshop in the occupied town of Novoyegorivka in the Kharkiv region. According to the Ukrainian military, “Anubis” drones were used in the strike. A logistics depot belonging to the Russian Federation’s 27th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade was also targeted.
