Russian forces attacked Kherson with strike drones early this morning. Various areas of the city and its outskirts were hit. According to preliminary reports, four civilians were injured.
On the morning of June 6, Russian drones attacked Kherson and nearby settlements. Residential neighborhoods, vehicles, and civilian facilities were hit. At least four people were injured as a result of the attacks. One of the first victims was a 56-year-old man. Around 8:50 a.m., a Russian drone attacked the Korabelny district of the city. The man suffered blast injuries. “Medical personnel are currently providing him with the necessary care,” the Regional Military Administration reported.
Another attack occurred near Komyshan. A civilian vehicle carrying a 70-year-old woman was struck by a Russian drone. As a result of the explosion, she sustained blast injuries, a traumatic brain injury, and numerous shrapnel wounds to her head, chest, arms, and legs. The woman was hospitalized. Doctors are assessing her condition and providing the necessary care.
Another Kherson resident was injured around 7:40 a.m. in the city center. A Russian drone attacked a car near which the woman was standing. She was diagnosed with blast trauma and concussion. After examination, medical personnel continued to provide her with care. Additionally, around 7:10 a.m., a residential building in the city’s Central District was struck.
A 66-year-old woman was inside the apartment. After the explosion, she was taken to the hospital in moderate condition. The victim was diagnosed with blast trauma, a closed head injury, and acoustic trauma.
Local authorities emphasize that Russian troops continue to use drones to attack the civilian population of Kherson. Residential buildings, vehicles, and civilians going about their daily routines in the morning are being targeted.
Rescue workers, police, and medical personnel continue to work at the sites of the strikes. Details regarding the consequences of the attacks are being clarified. Authorities are once again urging residents of Kherson not to ignore air raid sirens and to take shelter whenever possible, as the threat of drone attacks in the city remains high. Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops have struck Kharkiv and 19 settlements in the Kharkiv region. As a result of the enemy attacks, one person was killed and six others were wounded.
Russian troops continued to attack Zaporizhzhia with drones. At least five people were injured in the latest strike, and a fire broke out at a parking lot in one of the city’s districts.
On the night of June 5–6, Russian forces carried out another massive attack on the Odesa region using Shahed-type strike drones. Residential, logistics, and civilian infrastructure facilities were targeted.
