On August 9, one person was killed and five others were wounded in the Dnipropetrovsk region as a result of Russian shelling.

This was reported by Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration. According to him, the Nikopol district came under attack. 

Russian troops shelled the communities of Nikopol, Marganetsk, and Pokrovsk. Private homes, a five-story building, a farm building, a garage, cars, and a public bus were damaged.

“One person was killed, and five were injured. A 36-year-old man was hospitalized in moderate condition,” the head of the Regional State Administration noted.

Damage was also reported in the Synelnykivskyi and Kryvyi Rih districts. In Pavlohrad, a warehouse on the grounds of a food processing plant caught fire as a result of the shelling.

In total, Russian forces attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region nearly 40 times throughout the day using drones, artillery, and aerial bombs.

As a reminder, in the Kherson region, one person was killed and two were wounded as a result of Russian shelling.

In Dnipro on Friday, August 7, a World Health Organization humanitarian warehouse was destroyed as a result of an attack. There were no people on the premises at the time of the strike, and no casualties were reported.

Over the past 24 hours, the occupiers lost 1,130 soldiers and more than 400 pieces of military equipment.
