This was reported by Ukraine’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Andrii Sybiha, on the social network X.
“Russia’s night-time strike on Kyiv damaged the premises of a foreign diplomatic mission — the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Ukraine,” he said.
Sybiha stressed that the Russian strike is a gross violation of the Vienna Convention and once again demonstrates that Russia’s brutality knows no limits.

“We are ready to provide all necessary assistance to our Qatari colleagues,” the minister added.
He also called on the countries of the Persian Gulf to respond to Russia’s actions both publicly and through diplomatic channels.
On the night of 9 January, Russian forces carried out a massive attack on Kyiv, using drones and missiles from multiple directions, making it difficult to intercept such a large number of targets simultaneously.
On the night of 9 January (from 07:30 p.m. on 8 January), the enemy launched a combined strike on Ukraine’s critical infrastructure facilities using attack UAVs, as well as sea- and ground-launched missiles.
Russian terrorist forces conducted a massive strike on residential areas of Kyiv, damaging civilian objects in several districts of the capital, including Darnytskyi, Dniprovskyi, Desnianskyi, Pecherskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts.
