The General Staff updated its figures on Russian losses and announced the elimination of another 1,190 invaders
As of August 11, 2026, Ukrainian defenders have eliminated another 1,190 Russian occupiers over the past 24 hours. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine updated the total losses of the Russian Federation’s army in terms of personnel and equipment in its morning report.
As of August 11, Russia has lost the following in the war against Ukraine:
- personnel – approximately 1,460,400 (+1,190) people;
- tanks – 12,259 (+4);
- armored combat vehicles – 25,120 (+4);
- artillery systems – 47,713 (+44);
- multiple launch rocket systems – 2,020 (+1);
- air defense systems – 1,560 (+2);
- aircraft – 439 (+0);
- helicopters – 354 (+0);
- ground-based robotic systems – 2,160 (+9) units;
- operational-tactical UAVs – 454,572 (+1,578) units;
- cruise missiles – 5,007 (+0) units;
- ships/boats – 35 (+0);
- submarines – 2 (+0) units;
- Vehicles and tanker trucks – 132,543 (+307) units;
- special equipment – 4,514 (+3) units

Earlier, the General Staff confirmed a strike on the TANECO oil refinery in Tatarstan.
As a reminder, a gas station and a facility were damaged as a result of a Russian attack on the Poltava region.
In Dnipro on Friday, August 7, a World Health Organization humanitarian warehouse was destroyed as a result of an attack. There were no people on the premises at the time of the strike, and no casualties were reported.
Over the past 24 hours, the occupiers lost 1,130 troops and more than 400 pieces of military equipment.
In the Kherson region, one person was killed and two were wounded as a result of Russian shelling.
