The General Staff updated the Russian Federation's casualty figures and announced that another 1,260 occupiers had been eliminated
Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have reduced the size of the Russian army by another 1,260 troops. The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces released updated data on enemy losses as of July 8, also reporting the destruction of a significant number of enemy vehicles.
As of July 8, Russia has lost the following in the war against Ukraine:
- personnel – approximately 1,413,510 (+1,260) individuals;
- tanks – 12,100 (+3);
- armored combat vehicles – 24,903 (+4);
- artillery systems – 45,569 (+61);
- multiple launch rocket systems – 1,918 (+1);
- air defense systems – 1,478 (+0);
- aircraft – 436 (+0);
- helicopters – 353 (+0) units;
- ground-based robotic systems – 1,853 (+5) units;
- operational-tactical UAVs – 396,920 (+2,074) units;
- cruise missiles – 4,887 (+0) units;
- ships/boats – 33 (+0);
- submarines – 2 (+0) units;
- Vehicles and tanker trucks – 117,547 (+462) units;
- special equipment – 4,398 (+4) units

As a reminder, Russian forces struck Odesa—there are casualties, and infrastructure has been damaged.
The strike on Odesa was carried out with a missile equipped with a cluster warhead.
