Since the start of the day on March 22, 2026, the Russian army has carried out 54 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian defenders, continuing to exert active pressure on key fronts.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The highest concentration of enemy efforts is observed in the Pokrovsk direction, where 21 attempts to storm the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces have been recorded.
The aggressor continues to shell border areas of the Sumy region, where the settlements of Korenok, Sosnivka, Bachivsk, and a number of other villages came under fire.
In addition to artillery, the enemy is using aviation; in particular, Volfyne was subjected to an airstrike, indicating an attempt to terrorize the civilian population.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk directions, the intensity of fire remains extremely high—66 attacks were recorded, including those from multiple launch rocket systems.
In the Kupiansk and Lyman sectors, the enemy attempted to improve its tactical position, but Ukrainian troops successfully repelled attempts to advance in the areas of Shyikivka and Novoplatonivka.
The situation remains tense near Kostyantynivka and Pleshchiivka, where the occupiers carried out seven attacks.
The Pokrovsk sector remains the hottest spot on the front: “Since the start of the day, the occupiers have attempted 21 times to dislodge our troops from their positions in the areas of the settlements of Bilytske, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, and Pokrovsk.”
Fierce fighting is currently underway there, and one of the enemy attacks is still ongoing.
Significant enemy activity was also recorded in the Huliaipole sector, where nine attacks were launched toward Solodke and Huliaipole.
The areas around Vozdvizhivka and Tersianka were subjected to massive airstrikes, indicating the enemy’s intent to prepare the ground for further assault operations.
In the Orikhiv direction, the use of missile weapons was recorded in the areas of Bilenke and Krynychne, although no direct infantry assaults were observed.
In the Dnipro and other sectors, there are currently no significant changes in the operational situation; the enemy is refraining from active offensive actions.
The General Staff assures that the situation is under control, and Ukrainian units are holding their defenses firmly, inflicting significant losses on the invaders.
As a reminder, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are regaining control in the Oleksandrivka sector and holding back the Russian Federation’s offensive.
Additionally, the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated another 940 invaders and a significant amount of equipment over the past 24 hours.
