Kyiv's air defense forces have shot down Gerani-5 rockets for the second day in a row
For the second day in a row, Ukraine’s air defense forces have been successfully shooting down the latest “Geran-5” jet drones near Kyiv. This was reported by Sergey “Flash” Beskrestnov, a military expert in radio technology. According to him, the enemy is launching the drones from a distance of about 400 kilometers.
Despite the effective actions of Ukrainian air defense forces, Russia has already established mass production of this weapon and will likely continue to expand its use. The expert also noted that jet-powered interceptor drones will be largely ineffective against the new “Geran-5” drones.

Military expert and presidential adviser Serhiy Flash stated that it will be possible to protect Kyiv from “Shahed” drones after establishing a multi-layered, echeloned defense system with a sufficient number of jet interceptors.
Train service on the Kyiv City Express has been temporarily suspended in Kyiv due to an elevated air threat. Service on the city commuter train will resume once the air threat has passed and the necessary authorization has been received.
