Kremlin does not specify Putin’s location during fake “attack on Residence”

The Kremlin could not clarify where Russian dictator Vladimir Putin was during the alleged “attack on his residence” in Valdai, according to Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov.

Peskov was responding to journalists’ questions about Putin’s whereabouts when drones supposedly targeted his Valdai residence.

“Regarding the president’s location, under current circumstances this topic is not subject to public discussion,” Peskov stated.

At the same time, the Kremlin spokesman called the incident a “terrorist act” allegedly aimed at Putin and supposedly “against the efforts of U.S. President Donald Trump.”

According to Peskov, Russia remains in the negotiation process and continues dialogue with the U.S., and after the fabricated attack, “the Kremlin will strengthen its negotiation position regarding Ukraine.”

“Russian military know how and when to respond to Ukraine’s actions,” Peskov added, cynically threatening Kyiv.

The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) has refuted the Kremlin’s claims about the strike on Putin’s residence.

Images and information about Putin’s Valdai residence, which was allegedly attacked by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, have been circulated, but Ukraine interprets the Kremlin’s statement as an attempt by Putin to sabotage peace negotiations.

Former U.S. President Donald Trump stated that such an attack would have been inappropriate during negotiations, if it had actually occurred.
