The Kremlin acknowledges a lack of progress on territorial issues in the negotiations

Dmitry Peskov, the spokesperson for the Russian dictator, stated that no progress has been made on key issues in the ongoing negotiations with Ukraine.

The most contentious issue remains that of territories, where the parties’ positions remain diametrically opposed.

According to the Kremlin representative, the main agenda items critical to the Russian side have not yet been agreed upon.

Despite the lack of results, Moscow is trying to demonstrate its readiness to continue the dialogue.

“Russia has not lost interest in negotiations regarding Ukraine,” the Kremlin dictator’s spokesperson noted during a conversation with journalists.

Peskov also added that Russia is counting on holding the next round of meetings, though specific dates will depend on “when circumstances permit.”

As a reminder, the Kremlin has expressed hope for new negotiations with Ukraine.

The Kremlin also commented on the upcoming talks in the U.S. without Russia’s participation.
