Moscow considers the American peace plan acceptable
The American peace plan for Ukraine has triggered a real media frenzy in the Kremlin.
Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov used this expression to describe the situation, emphasising the chaos and excessiveness of the information flow surrounding the topic.
Peskov stressed that any discussions on the European security system must involve European states, and that their participation in future negotiations will be necessary. In his view, this is an important step towards reaching agreements on security issues across the continent.
At the same time, the Kremlin believes that the American peace plan is “substantive,” meaning it contains concrete and meaningful proposals that Moscow is prepared to examine and analyse carefully.
