Zelenskyy spoke about Russia's attacks on gas stations and a Kyivstar building
Russian attacks using “suicide” rockets are becoming increasingly terrorist-like. Throughout the day, the Russians have been deliberately targeting gas stations in Kyiv.
Two people were killed today as a result of these strikes alone. Nine others were injured, including a rescue worker who was wounded in a secondary blast. The Kyivstar company building was also attacked.
The attacks have been ongoing since last night. Strikes were recorded in the Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Dnipro, Odesa, Donetsk, Kherson, Kharkiv, and Mykolaiv regions.
“We cannot simply wait while Russia refines its repertoire of killings. Right now, we must focus all our attention on protecting our airspace, finding solutions to defend our people, and scaling up our countermeasures against Russian drones. “I thank everyone who is helping to strengthen Ukrainian aviation and air defense systems with the necessary missiles. All of this saves lives every day,” the message reads.
Zelenskyy announced this on his Telegram channel.
A Russian attack damaged a furniture factory in Vasylkiv.
In the Sumy region, Russian troops carried out a series of strikes on civilian targets. As a result of the attacks, an 83-year-old woman was killed, and at least 16 other people were wounded or injured.
As a reminder, fires broke out at industrial facilities in the Kyiv region due to a Russian attack.
Russia also launched a massive attack on Kyiv, killing and wounding civilians.
